The Price of Love and Other Stories by Peter Robinson collects two novellas -- both featuring Inspector Banks -- and an assortment of short stories. Banks figures in some of the stories, in others he does not. Robinson is principally a novelist so this collection does not show him at his best. My sense is that if you are a fan of his work, and Inspector Banks, you will enjoy this collection. If you are unfamiliar with Robinson, I'd give it a pass.
