Follow me on Twitter: @bibliobaggins. I collect what I read with an emphasis on modern first editions. My largest and most important collection represents the works of novelist and poet Louise Erdrich. Others represented in my collection include D.C. writer George Pelecanos, Michael Connelly, Edith Wharton, Willa Cather, Elmore Leonard, John le Carre, books on books, books on running, books on the blues, books on baseball.
The Washington Post has an interesting story this morning on Michael Connelly's new thriller The Scarecrow. The article focuses on how the decline in the newspaper business -- an element of the novel -- posed challenges for the author.
